This case represents a public issue to thousands of transgenders confined to state and federal institutions whom are being denied treatment despite the fact the WPATH "Standards of Care" is the only accepted treatment for transgenders by every Medical and Mental Health Association in the U.S.. These standards are not being applied equally for even when they are all under the same authority. With a suicide attempt rate of over 41% this Honorable Court needs to STANDARDIZE the protocol for transgender therapy.
